We don't often go for vintage wind-up toys but how can you pass on Dan the Coffee Drinking Man?! This is apparently what our friends in Japan thought of us in the 60s. I'd say fairly accurate but I'm assuming they only left off the cigarette because this was intended to be played with by children.
Not that kids didn't smoke too...
If you wind him up and he pours from one hand out of the kettle into the other hand where he has a coffee mug. Then he takes the mug up to his mouth. Repeat.
Blond hair, blue eyes, yellow jacket, white button up shirt tucked in, polka-dot bow tie, jeans with a belt and sneakers. Pretty sure I saw this guy at New Wave recently. Though there was probably a mustache and a pair of glasses involved.
